This ridiculous system is being crammed down the throats of physicians by administrators and government so the bean counters can automatically track useless indicators and physicians are now spending their time as unpaid data entry clerks rather than using their years of advanced training to care for patients. Smart move by the bureaucrats 😢😢😢😢😢😢

My partner abuses beer every day. He can't get ahead of it. One reason is that beer is everywhere. You can't even go to a gas station wthout it being in his face. So all is by design! This is well throughout the plan to make the industry very rich. Not to mention the money the courts and law in make in the process of this disorder. It's ashame!

I'm glad there's different approaches for quitting. But I must say aa has been very freeing for me. I don't feel shame. I feel liberated and know myself better. My husband needed counseling over aa. He does both. Whatever helps each individual stay off the hooch is what works for each person. The shame thing is not going to help anyone.

My trick is to check my BG two hours after a meal. I like to try to keep the spike under 180. If the meal works, I'll put on a list of meals my body likes. What do I eat/drink? Mostly water tea coffee, and one 0 calorie energy drink. I"ll eat hotdogs, hamburger (no buns) cheese, questadilla with only 1 low carb tortilla, Lots of salads with vinegar and olive oil, mushrooms, fish, ham, unsalted almonds, unflavored geek yogurt 2% or 5%. I stay away from potatos, breads, processed foods, My a1c is 5.8.

Alcchcolic is an outdated term now...A label that takes away fromthe fatct that alchxhol is a tixic dangerous substancd wofficially labelked. As a legal poison..In my experience mzAA is out dsted and shane based, adduction and priblem drinking us a conplwx subjject a lot of. the time trauma based or a neuroligucal cindtitiin like ADHD etc...I dont but the old AA line that alchcholism is a disease...Anybody that consumes alchchol is on a sdpectrum , there is nothing normal about consuming this substamce, its normalised by the culture of the alchchol industry etc..
